You are responsible for the coordination and drafting of all material commercial contracts (e.g. term sheets, funding agreements) in EMEA, executing and refining the compliance strategy and enhancing legal operations, as well as supporting the GGC in the maintenance of the corporate- and fund structure. As Regional General Counsel EMEA, you head a small legal team in Amsterdam and work closely with Investment Managers across the region as well as the Global Legal Compliance and Risk team.
Profile
- a civil law degree and currently resident in the Netherlands or able to relocate to the Netherlands
- at least 10 years’ work experience, gained in a top-tier law firm and/or as in-house counsel
- experience with civil law contracting in an international setting, knowledge of insolvency law, financial services and/or litigation is a plus
- business partner with an entrepreneurial mindset
- fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
