Together with various colleagues you are responsible for the further implementation of the EU Renewable Energy Directive within the organization. You provide legal support to the renewable business units and you play an important role in the legal team guarding and advising on VARO’s high compliance and ESG standards. Furthermore, you work closely together with the company’s Renewable Compliance team and you manage external counsel for specialized legal matters.
Profile
- qualified Dutch, Belgian or German lawyer or inhouse counsel
- 6+ years of experience
- experience or a genuine interest in energy law and regulatory law
- substantial knowledge of commercial contract law
- business minded and great communication skills
- fluent in English
