To strengthen the Amsterdam IP, Data & Technology practice, we are looking for a
team player with business development skills
As the lead partner of the Amsterdam practice you work closely together with a strong team of dedicated professionals and with other practice leaders across EMEA. You advise on a wide range of matters, such as traditional IP (litigation, transactions, IP management), digital and media work, data privacy & data protection and technology/outsourcing contracts, for large well-known multinational clients. You head a diverse team of specialists, each with their own areas of expertise, enabling the team to service these clients on any IP, Data or Technology subject. It is your task to further build on the existing foundation of the Amsterdam team that plays such an important role in the worldwide IP, Data & Technology practice within the BakerMcKenzie network.
Profile
- experienced IP, Data and/or IT lawyer, with 15 to 25 (or more) years’ work experience
- gained at a reputable international law firm or specialized local law firm
- or as an in-house senior counsel in an IP, Data or IT focused environment
- highly collaborative; natural charisma and the authority to lead the team and
create team spirit - good business development skills, able to further grow a successful practice
