You are part of the legal team lead by the Legal Director, but therein you fulfill an independent and central role. You are responsible for all legal matters outside of France, namely Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Hong Kong, with a focus on The Netherlands. This includes corporate and commercial legal matters, international M&A transactions and an advisory role in negotiations. You manage litigation and the trademark portfolio, and act as corporate secretary of the Dutch companies within the group. Furthermore, you drive the implementation and monitoring of GDPR and ESG regulations.
Profile
- approximately 7-12 years of experience at a law firm and/or as inhouse counsel
- broad legal interest, solid knowledge of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and experienced in M&A transactions
- experience as corporate secretary is a plus u team player with strong communication skills
and a business-oriented approach - fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus
