General Counsel
pragmatic, operational as well as providing strategic advice to the executive committee

You operate as sole legal counsel for the European business and provide broad corporate and commercial legal advice. You negotiate, draft and review material legal contracts, e.g. franchise agreements, leases, guarantees and related documents. You coordinate M&A and due diligence investigations and negotiate key transaction agreements, liaising with external advisors if necessary. Furthermore, you review relevant new regulations and update policies and procedures in close collaboration with the risk & compliance manager.
Profile
- qualified Dutch or German lawyer or in-house legal counsel
- with around 8-12 years of work experience
- experience with corporate/M&A and general commercial law
- extensive contract negotiations skills
- fluent in English, able to build effective stakeholder relationships
